Delete your Veltro account

You can delete your Veltro account yourself, from inside the app. If you cannot get into the app, write to us and we will do it for you.

In the app

Open Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm with your password.

This permanently removes:

• your account record;
• every piece of encrypted sync data we hold for you;
• your social profile and display name, your posts, your comments and your reactions;
• who you follow and who follows you;
• your club memberships and your challenge participations.

Every device signed in to the account is signed out, and the Veltro data on the phone you used is wiped along with it: the local activity library and your encryption keys.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to keep your training history, export your activities as GPX files before you delete the account.

Delete some of your data, keep the account

You can also remove single items and keep your account:

• An activity — open it in History → the menu (⋮) → Delete. It is removed from your phone and, if encrypted sync is on, from our server too.
• A post you published — open the post → the menu (⋮) → Delete post. The published copy is removed from our server; the activity stays in your own history.
• A comment you wrote — press and hold the comment → Delete.

To remove everything at once, delete the account as described above.

If you cannot use the app

Write to hello@veltro.fit from the e-mail address on the account, with the subject "Delete my account".

We check that the request comes from the address on the account, and delete it within 30 days.

What deletion does not do

Two kinds of file live outside Veltro once you have made them, so deleting your account does not reach them:

• GPX files you exported — they sit in your phone's Downloads folder, and you delete them yourself.
• Share cards and flyover videos you sent to other apps — copies you have already sent to a messaging app or a social network are governed by that app, not by Veltro.
